Water Quality Monitoring Activities in the Upper, Middle, and Lower Basins

The Lower Cape Fear River Program (LCFRP) was established in 1995 to provide a framework for coordinated and comprehensive water quality monitoring and research in the lower portion of the Cape Fear River Basin. The LCFRP was the first sub-basin monitoring and research organization in the Cape Fear River Basin, and has served as a model for the Middle Cape Fear River Basin Association and the Upper Cape Fear River Basin Associations.

The Lower Cape Fear River Program has many ongoing monitoring, research and public education and awareness activities. The LCFRP has established a web site that contains a wealth of information about the Program. You may click here to visit the LCFRP’s web-site
